Cowango Studios is the creative home of artists Stefanie Graves and David Lucht, a husband and wife team who specialize in watercolor and batik paintings. Based out of Paducah, Kentucky, they also have a part time home in central Mexico to explore the art scene of San Miguel de Allende and the surrounding area. They love travel and incorporate their adventures into their art in various ways.

Stefanie is a self-taught watercolorist and retired nurse. She finds inspiration in the beauty of nature as well as her fellow travelers. She has exhibited in multiple art exhibitions over the past 30 years, selling her work to both private individuals and corporations.

David has degrees in both fine art and graphic arts and had a full time career for several decades in the corporate graphic art world. For the past 30 years he has focused on batik painting, working in a painterly style and exploring experimental techniques in batik. His work has also been in a number of exhibitions nationally and is in numerous private and corporate collections.
