Liluye is the Miwokan word for a hawk singing while soaring, signifying a connection with the natural world and highlighting the hawk’s strength and grace. This is mirrored in the resilience, courage, bravery, hope, and determination of indigenous peoples’ and survivors of human trafficking.
At Liluye, we are a team of global warriors with a shared vision of peace and empowerment. Liluye is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization based in Tucson, Arizona that develops programs and shares resources to support and advocate for human trafficking survivors. Led and informed by survivors, we empower women and girls.
