I currently reside in Paducah, though I was born and raised in Chicago. Growing up in the heart of a major city exposed me to a rich blend of art, architecture, culture, and diverse experiences that shaped who I am. Chicago offered an endless array of food, neighborhoods, and cultural moments — there was always somewhere to go and something new to explore. I am incredibly proud of my roots and grateful for the energy and perspective that city life gave me. A few years ago, I felt ready for a slower pace and relocated to Paducah. What I found here was a lovely town filled with welcoming people and charming, creative spaces. While it’s quieter than the city that raised me, it offers room to breathe, reflect, and create more intentionally.
Creativity has always been woven into my life. From drawing and painting in my early years to exploring photography in college, I’ve continually felt pulled toward artistic expression. These days, I create nature-inspired dioramas, crochet expressive dolls, and craft intricate wire art. My work leans into the whimsical and nostalgic — I love bringing small worlds and characters to life that feel both unique and deeply relatable. Whether it’s a crocheted creature with an expression someone instantly connects with, or a miniature scene that stirs a childhood memory or dreamlike feeling, my goal is to evoke emotion and spark recognition. Because I enjoy experimenting with different mediums, my work carries a wide range of energies — playful, tender, curious, and reflective — each piece telling its own quiet story.
I thrive around other creatives and genuinely enjoy learning about different art styles and perspectives. Hearing what motivates someone, what inspires them, and how they bring their ideas to life is invigorating to me. Engaging in meaningful conversations about creativity and passion fuels my own growth. It’s important to me that people feel represented and understood, and I strive to create that kind of space in my interactions. Connecting with passionate, empathetic creatives who value imagination, authenticity, and emotional depth is something I deeply look forward to.
